CSST Tulipmania!

WOW, did we have some beautiful entries for CSST Tulip Challenge! What a creative team ~ and what FUN! Here's what I posted... a mirror decoupaged with a vintage hanky. I tried to come up with something original and this is something that I've never seen before ~ yay! :) After I had it all finished and listed and posted on my blog... it dawned on me that these may not be tulips at all ~lol! They are familiar but the name escapes me...

Has it been that long since I posted on my new little blog?
Wow ~ time flies!

I wanted to share just a couple of my recent purchases that
I'm so delighted with.  I took the photos outside on a breezy,
45 degree day, so please pardon the rather haphazard layouts :)

This one is from twigandberries The vintage trim is scrumptious and the vintage clothespins are so sweet... imagine the things they've seen in their lifetime :) The package was sprinkled with delightful touches ~ I love it all! Thank you twig!

After admiring her birdy embroideries that were selling like adorable little hotcakes, I finally asked misseskwittys if she would be so kind as to make one for me! And I had to have the darling blah, blah birdy magnet too :) Every little detail is so sweet and thoughtful... what a fun package to receive! Thank you missesk!

Well, I shared my blog address today so now the pressure's on to make it all fancy and cute and neat-o! :) To quote Etsy's fabulous yayabun, "Bwahahaha!!" FINALLY! A place to ramble where someone might listen! lol All kidding aside, I'm looking forward to sharing some photos and some laughs with my buds here. :)

Welcome to my fledgling blog! This is all new to me, so I'm just figuring it out as I go :)

I'm a proud member of Etsy's Cottage Style Street Team and I'm so delighted to be in such great company! It's a fun, friendly and creative group with the most delightful shops full of shabby, vintage, cottage style finds. Etsy is a website for buying and selling handmade items ~ it's really wonderful! From the Etsy website you can peruse loads of cottage style goodies by doing a 'tags and titles' search for CSSTeam.

If you love ephemera, glitter, vintage fabric, roses, old photos,
birds and their little abodes, chippy paint and the like,
take a peek ~ you won't be disappointed!
